1Ch 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Context
For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
1Ch 16:27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
1Ch 16:28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
1Ch 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
1Ch 16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
1Ch 16:31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
1Ch 16:32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
1Ch 16:33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
1Ch 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

One thing I have found is that the presence of God is Amazing! When you are truly experiencing His presence you never want to leave. After you had an experience like this, the only thing on your mind is how and when can you enter into this wonderful experience again.

Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

When in this place of enjoying God’s presence, time seems to stop and all worries fade away. There is a communion with God, the Lover of our souls that satisfies the deepest need. This place is found in our worship!

Psa 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

This thing I noticed of late

What a wonderful thing to be alone or to be with many. Lifting up our hands and entering into God’s presence with song and worship. Lately I have noticed something in many services. A group of talented people on the stage in a local church and the congregation sitting and listening to many songs that may even be unfamiliar to the audience. There is no “entering in” as a group. Just a showcase of musicians and singers. It saddens me as this is one of the most crucial and wonderful parts of following Jesus! Worship!
