Farming is a good profession that I would love everyone to do because it really helps when you are in need.
Like now, the hardship in Nigeria doesn't affect the farmers because they harvest their crops and sell them. Just imagine a basin of garri is now sold for 5k in my community.
Farming life
Farmers who have cassava farms start harvesting their cassava to sell; farmers are like big men in our community because of their farmland.

A farmer is a person who wants to help his people by cultivating a big piece of land, planting different kinds of crops, and harvesting it for his family and also for the benefit of the world.

Hipping the soil
Hoe is used for wedding out unwanted grass from the farm.
Cutlass is used for clearing grass from the farm.
Rake is used for raking out dry grass from the farm.
The shovel is used for digging or planting crops on the farm.
A harvester is used for harvesting crops from the farm.
The spreader is used for spreading chemicals on the farm.
A plasterer is used for planting crops on the farm.
The file is used to sharpen the cutlass on the farm if the cutlass is off.
The wheelbarrow is used to carry harvested cassava on the farm.
Hipping hoe is used to hip the soil to enable you to plant crops on the farm.

Yes, you can cultivate your land without using chemicals.
It is advisable to cultivate your land and plant your crops before using chemicals. That is what I was taught in school in agriculture science class.
