Visiting Avala tower

in hive-115859 •  5 years ago

This past weekend my friends and I drove to the Avala mountain on the outskirts of Belgrade. It's a common gathering place especially on weekends and holidays and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the city. It's most prominent spot is the Avala tower, 205m tall, that was destroyed in 1999 during NATO bombing and later rebuilt in 2010.

Here are some photos from the tower as well my friends goofing around and having fun in the surrounding park.
