Underplaying the intensity of this system if ya ask me. Models are in fairly good agreement, and consistently showing anywhere from 8-12" in denver metro, with some models predicting up to 18". On top that, no mention of upslope flow and the potential for 40-60mph winds at times. We could be looking at an event that starts as rain, then ice, then blizzard conditions, possibly even some thundersnow! Just my humble opinion from 17 years as a storm chaser lol, but then again, meteorology is the only job I know of you can be wrong, every time, and still be paid haha.
