Delhi recorded its second highest daily tally of new Covid-19 cases with 8,521 more people testing positive on Friday, just 72 short of the highest single day tally reported on November 11, 2020. The markets are feeling the impact of the rise in Covid-19 cases in the city, the restrictions on movement at night and strict vigilance by the administration.
