Tens of thousands in Iowa still without power days after devastating wind storm

i live in the quad cities, an hour from cedar rapids and i can tell you this was the most intense storm ive ever seen. 100 plus winds for over a hour. wrecked us in the q.c. as well. the midwest isnt ready for hurricane force winds. As to the crops, yes 10 million acres of crops wrecked, and we had a huge flood last year, not to mention all the stored grain destroyed by the storm. Corn is going to get expensive, i dont think most people realize how much of the countries grain crop is grown around where i live
