A magnitude-7.5 earthquake trembled Mexico's southern Oaxaca state Tuesday, according to the nation's disaster agency.
The Seismic Institute said the quake struck at 10.29 a.m. local time (1529GMT).
The National Civil Protection Coordination issued a tsunami warning after the earthquake and said "anomalous variations in sea level of up to 113 centimeters [4 feet] are expected over the tidal level."
Authorities have yet to comment on damages.
