This is fire season this happens all the time in the summer. Usually your hear it on the news, and continue on with day. But there's a handful of times when the fires really wowed me. When I was middle school it was about 7 a.m when I was leaving home. I noticed right away the sky was a deep orange, and red. There was stuff slowly falling from the sky that covered the yard, and cars all around us. That day no one at school was allowed outside, and the field was covered in ash the same stuff that was covering my yard, and the cars. I think this one was last year. I remember when visiting my uncle I can see flames in the distance from his porch, and the smell of smoke in the air at night. It was scary to see it so close like a glowing red line, and thinking wow there's really people out there fighting that monster. Seriously firemen are the most metal first responders.
