Everyone is involved in some workplace in our daily life. The most profitable thing to do is business. In my opinion a small, stress-free and profitable business idea can be homemade food service for new entrepreneurs. Starting this business requires relatively less capital and its demand is also quite good.

Because nowadays all people are looking for benefits. That's why if the food can be delivered within their reach, the customer is also happy the seller. That's why I think it is a small, stress-free and profitable business for new entrepreneurs.

✅ Which location would suit them best for the business and how much money can they start with?

Homemade food services should have a suitable understanding of the appropriate location and starting costs for the business. First of all, an example of a suitable location is given...

  • Urban areas : Busy areas of the city where working people are more. Close to office areas or educational institutions where there is more movement of people.

  • Residential Area : Where bachelors or students live more. Many of them like homemade food. They have to stay around and increase their activity.

  • Online Platform : Nowadays selling food through online platform is very popular. So it is the most wise to take orders from your website or social media pages.


Initial costs will depend mainly on the range of your business. The bigger the business you have, the more your capital will be and the higher the profit. However, I have mentioned the estimated cost below.

  • Kitchen setup : Cooking equipment, utensils, stoves, refrigerators, etc.: Tk 20,000 to Tk 30,000. Which is 1000 Steem to 1500 Steem Approx.

  • Raw material and packaging : Raw materials may cost 5000 to 7000 rupees in the initial stage. Which is 250 Steem to 350 Steem Approx. Packaging Quality Packaging Material 3000 to 5000 Tk. Which is 150 Steem to 250 Steem Approx.

  • Delivery arrangement : This is the most important thing. Own delivery management or using third-party delivery services may cost 4000 to taka, which is 200 Steem to 300 Steem Approx.

  • Possible benefits of this business : Firstly, capital investment is relatively low. Which is readily available for new entrepreneurs; healthy and homemade food is always in demand especially in urban areas; you can work according to your own time and it is possible to increase the scope of the business gradually; many prefer homemade food rather than eating outside. which will give you advantage in the market.

  • potential disadvantages of this business : Competition in food supply is very high. You have to give something different so that the customer is attracted; Managing the cost of delivery and delivery arrangements on time can be a major challenge; Maintaining food quality and hygiene regularly can be difficult; Following food safety and hygiene rules can be difficult. Especially if you want to do business on a large scale.

Packaging should be beautiful. Using quality packaging. Foods are packaged neatly and securely so that there is no problem during delivery. Label the package with the food name, ingredients, and manufacturer information. So that everyone can recognize you.

Keeping the delivery system active. A small delivery vehicle or bike capable of delivering food quickly and safely. Delivery bags are well insulated to maintain food temperature. Marketing is most important. Social media pages where photos of your food, customer reviews and special offers are posted. Professional photography should be kept so that your food is attractively photographed.

The key to success when starting a business is to think. For this, healthy and tasty food should be prepared. Ensure customer satisfaction. Must deliver on time. New menu and offers will be added regularly. If you want to focus on a particular type of food, you can tailor your plan and packaging accordingly. Hope these ideas help your business succeed.
