how are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. I am also fine by the grace of Allah.Today, I will participate in the new contest from Steem4Professionals brought by the honorable Moderator @okere-blessing. Every organization prepares some basic rules for the management of employees and officials for its proper management. The rules by which everyone is governed. These are the principles of an organization and following these principles is ethics. As an employee, it is the moral responsibility and duty of an employee to follow the rules of the organization. If the employees properly fulfill the ethical responsibilities assigned to them, the organization can easily achieve its goals.

✅ Discuss how work ethics effects the standard of an organization.

Several rules are made on how an organization will be managed, and on which rules the activities will run. In these rules, the interests of the employees are taken care of as well as the interests of the organization.
When an organization makes rules or policies keeping in mind the benefits of the organization and its employees, it becomes easier for everyone to follow them. When the working employees see that the policies are made considering their interests, then they follow those rules with sincerity. They find encouragement and motivation in the work, and as a result, it is possible to carry out the activities of the organization successfully.
Again, if I see an organization has made policies by giving priority to their own interests only. The interests of the working people have not been thought of, there people will be forced to work, but there will be no touch of life in the work. The employees will not get any enthusiasm for work.
I give a small example-
According to the labor law, overtime is given after 8 hours. But if an organization works without giving that overtime, then there will be no satisfaction in that work, there will be no enthusiasm. There will also be no speed of work. Also, devotion to the organization will increase day by day. As a result, there will be chaos sometime.
Organizational ethics therefore greatly influence the quality of an organization.

✅ Discuss some work ethics as practiced in your organization ?

I work in a steel mill. Here I am working as a store executive. The policies here are very employee friendly and we have taken it as our moral responsibility to follow those policies.
Here are some of our policies: -

  • The general duty of our office is 8 hours. Working after this time is considered overtime.
  • In case of any accident or illness while working here, he is treated at the company's own expense.
  • A festival bonus is given every two Eid’s. or two times
  • If an employee needs to be dismissed, he is given three months' prior notice and at the time of dismissal, the next 3 months' salary is paid.
  • Our organization has 18 days of voluntary leave in a year.
  • There is a provision for taking leave in case of emergency treatment.
  • Here is Tiffin's pricing for everyone.
  • In my opinion, the biggest policy is that if an employee has a problem, they have the opportunity to speak directly to the company official.

✅ How does work ethics enhance effective productivity in an organization .

The positive ethics or ethics of an organization play an important role in the positive production of the organization. Employees work in the organization. Employees can increase the production of the organization and employees can also reduce the production. They will be happy if the employee-friendly policy is maintained, and they will try to give their best service. But if employee-friendly policies are not maintained, employees will not be motivated to work. They will work as a bunch of drudgery. There is not much expectation of production there.
So, whether the production will be good or bad depends on the policy of the organization.
