Language has been an important aspect in the history of man. This is due to the communication that has been transpiring between him and his fellow like beings. Since from inception, man has evolved with different languages. For me, I traced the origin of these multiple languages to the bible where God caused confusion in the tower of Babel. Without much ado, let’s get into the details.
Explain your opinion about the importance of English in the job sector |

The English language in the job sector has an important influence that cannot be underestimated. Any employer or employee of service won’t disregard the English language as it’s the backbone of communication among people of different ethnic groups and languages. Taking Lagos state of Nigeria into consideration, this state is referred to as the melting pot of Nigeria.
In other words, nearly all ethnic groups present in Nigeria are found there. Their presence there is to search for a greener pasture. In order to make this search a successful one, communication in English is quite important.

Nigeria is one of the few countries to be colonized by the British government. Because of that colonization, Nigeria adopted English to be the official language of the nation. Concerning jobs in Nigeria, English Language has influenced workers both employers and employees. First, the CV and the application letter to a job are written in English to be understood by the two parties involved.
When the employee is given the appointment, he or she will discover that the workplace is filled with people with different ethnic groups and languages. In order to communicate with his or her colleagues, he or she has to employ the English language as the official language.
What advice would you give to the students of your country about language learning from your experience? |

If I am given the opportunity to advise students of my country concerning languages learning, here are some I can render;
- First, the world is filled with a diversity of languages which is vulnerable for learning. In order to flow with it, you have to learn.
- Also, you may be opportune to travel to different places where you will meet different people speaking different languages. Don’t be limited with what you have rather open your mindset for learning.

My dear friend, when I was growing up, I had different language I desired to learn one of which is Chinese, another is Spanish because I watch thier movie and had their product at home, I always wanted to understand them but it seems almost impossible. I am glad that with English language I can communicate with different people with diverse language just like what is done on the steemit space, Thanks for inviting me here
