Contest : Tell us about your Dream Profession

Hello steem for professionals, it is a pleasure to be part of your community. I appreciate @disconnect for posting about this contest which has enabled me to join.

We all have our dream profession that we wanted to become when we were young. Some wanted to great doctors, musicians, activist, pilots, lawyers, athletes etc. Some of us are able to achieve this, while the rest had to make do with what they could.

My dream profession is to become a pilot. Although initially it was to become an astronaut, this is attributed to the sci-fi movies I watched as a kid growing up. Why I changed to pilot was because the dream was not looking realistic as I did not have a set goal to achieving this dream.

Currently I am not, this is because reality has hit again. I must say that the only think standing between me and the goal is money. The amount of money needed for flight school is ₦15,000,000 in my country. I do not have anyway to raise such an amount for money neither do I have any sponsor that will sponsor me to achieve this dream profession of mine.

The steps I took was to get an engineering degree so as to nettle understand the workings of the system of an aircraft. I also made research for the best aviation schools in the world. I applied for scholarships but was rejected all the time.
Right now I'm just hoping on enough money that would help me get into flight school.

Oh it will impact my life positively, a pilot is noble professional. He flies people and cargo on an airplane from one point to another. He is entrusted with the safety of hundreds of passengers. Do you know if there was problem in an aircraft the pilot has to be the last one to leave after all the passengers have left?
It is also an act of service and I love to serve.
