What are agricultural bye products, and name at least 5 you know?

Agricultural by-products are materials produced from the production and harvesting of crops and animals. However, these by-products are good resources that generate additional revenue for farmers.

Below are 5 agricultural by-products:

1. Manure: Animal excretions, are used as fertilizer to improve soil fertility. Especially livestock.

2. Straw: A dried stalk of a cereal plant, e.g., wheat, oats, and rice, used for animal bedding.

3. Cottonseed: Cotton seeds are used for the extraction of oil, as well as animal feed and fertilizer.

4. Corn cobs: The central core of an ear of corn (maize) to which kernels are attached in rows. It is used for animal feed and composting.

5. Wheat bran: Wheat grains are high in fiber and nutrients and can be used as animal feed or as a supplement for humans.
