Explain what you understand by "seed drill."

Seed Drill

The seed drill is an amazing invention that comes into use in Bangladesh for farming and ensuring good harvest. This is very useful for crops such as rice, wheat and corn.
In the past the seeds were spread by hand but not always at the right depth in the soil. Sometimes seeds would fall in a gap, and sometimes too many in the same place. It made the crops grow unevenly. Seeds are put at the proper depth and separated proper distance with the seed drill machine. It makes sure that crops grow properly. Next It helps in good growth plus saving time and labor. In our country, the use of modern farming tools is increasing, such as seed drill.

From your own understanding, explain why crops are sprayed with pesticides.

Farmer Using Pesticides

Pests and disease in the crop fields are really a challenge in Bangladesh. When disease or pests destroying the crop is not controlled on time, it can destroy the crop. Thats why farmers use pesticides in the fields. Pesticides reduce damage to crops and kill the pests. Yet for many farmers in our country, they do not know exactly how to use the pesticides in a right way. Sometimes they are using above the recommended dosage amount which is harmful to the environment. That why there is greater attention to utilizing organic pesticides and companion planting to deal with pests. It helps to keep the crops safe and does not ruin the environment.

How can cows produce enough milk? What do they need to be fed with to have enough milk.

	Cow Feed

Cow’s milk is an important source of nutrition in whole Bangladesh. Getting more milk from a cow requires good food such as green grass, straw, broken rice, oilcake,rich in vitamins and minerals foods. Ensure enough clean water for the cows every day. The Cows should be kept clean with good food and water and get checked up on regularly. Nowadays We are producing more milk by breeding better type of cows in our country. Dairy farms are set up in many areas and cows are looked after using modern methods.

Who invented the earliest milking machines and why? State some reasons.

Milking Machine

Milking machine is a device which makes milking of the cow easier and faster. There are no records about using such machine in ancient time in Bangladesh but till this time large dairy farm use milking machines. Milking cows by hand is hard work, and sometimes the cow’s udder would get hurt. With the machine, milking is easier for the cow and easier for the farmers. In large farms with great deals of milk gathered each day, milking machines are being used much more. This sort of method is hygienic and keeps the milk quality good.
