Hello friend's,
What are macronutrients And micronutrients in plant nutrients? |
---|
Macronutrients include, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sulfur, and magnesium. micronutrients are boron, chlorine, manganese, iron, zinc, copper, and molybdenum. Here are some examples of how macronutrients and micronutrients help plants. Phosphorus; a vital components of DNA and RNA, phosphorus is also involved in cell membrane function and integrity. A deficiency in phosphorus can cause leaves to turn purple or reddish, and can lead to poor growth, reduce yield, and early fruit drop.
Describe how nutrients deficiencies affect crop yield? |
---|
Nutrients deficiencies can significantly impact crop yield by reducing the quality of plants and the amount of crop produced, stunted growth; plant may be stunted in their growth.
Leaf discoloration: leave may turn yellow due to reduce chlorophyll production. Reduced fruit production; plants may produce fewer fruit. Delayed maturity; plants may mature abnormally or delayed.
Crop failure: crops may have may fail completely especially at the seedlings stage.
How does nitrogen contribute to plant growth? |
---|
Nitrogen is essential for plant growth in many ways including, energy transfer; nitrogen is a component of adenosine triphosphate, Which is the primary energy currency in plant cells, call division and elongation; nitrogen stimulate cell to divide and elongate which helps plant grow. Nutrients uptake; nitrogen help plants absorb nutrients and water through their root.
I here by mention @simonnegwe @chigozie @anthony002 to participate in this contest.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
Putting source right down the pictures can show a better screening to others and it shows as a nice layout.
It is fine otherwise.
