What do you understand by Traditional Agriculture |
---|
Traditional agriculture can be defined as a type of farming methods that focus on techniques development over time to produce sustainable yields. It's based on your strength and local resources with your experiential knowledge and Brain rather than the modern scientific method.
Mention those traditional/semi-modern Agricultural tools and their uses |
---|
• hoes
• shovel
• rake
• axe
• Big knife (cutlass)
HOES: hoes have many uses, and we also have two types of hoes, the weeding hoe, and the mounce hoe. Weeding can be defined as the type of hoe used in weeding grass from our environment, farms, church, etc. While mounce hoe is used to make Mounce, Mounce is just like making the ground soft before planting again; this type of home is mostly in our farms and is used to make mounce before planting you, and it can be used in; it before planting our vegetable.
SHOVEL: A shovel is used to make hard work easier for us, like packing sand when building and mixing of cement is also used to dig your plant with the use of a hoe. It cannot dig and lift at the same time; a shovel is important for farmers.
RAKE: Rakes have many uses, but the main use of making sake is to pack a fake rake dirty t og, ether, and you will use your shovel to pack it and put it in the trashed bag. It can clean and level the ground.
BIG KNIFE (CUTLASS) AND AXE: They have almost the same work. Cutlass, as the name implies, is used to cut something like grass, trees, and firewood that is not strong enough. While an axe is used to cut wood, it is hard for cutlass to cut.
