Demons

We often try to defeat our demons
Therein lies the problem
We cannot defeat demons
At least on our own
And if we aren’t willing to take the help
Or are unable because sometimes we have to walk that path alone
Then we must change strategy
We must befriend the demons
Invite them in
Embrace them
Integrate them into our being
Then we will truly know and understand them
We learn to control them
Utilize them to fuel our success and growth
And if we find out they cannot be controlled
Then we have the insider knowledge necessary
To ultimately wipe them out
