Grandparents make every person's childhood more colorful and memorable. These old people make your surroundings full of joy and love. The stuttering words of their toothless mouth will make your mind better. You can sometimes think of their wrinkled body skins as polythene and do some research. From them you can find all the deep forests of peace.
Grandparents, how much affection and care they raise their grandchildren, you will not understand if you do not see them very closely to them. This is such a time when you commit a crime and your parents are willing to beat you, but your grandparents will save you from that. If your parents beat you, then your grand parents will threat your parents and affectionate you, then they will go with you to shop and buy toys and foods for you. You can't forget this memory. I have not seen my grandparents but seeing the love of grandparents around me, I feel the warmth of their love. Especially in the afternoon when I see little boys and girls going to the shop for tea holding the hands of grandparents.
I saw my grandmother both from mother and father side. No matter how much they kept me wrapped in their affection's sheet. If I went out to play, they would follow me. My grandmother had more responsibilities in my childhood because my mother used to be more busy. They love me even more than their life, sometimes I think that.
My grandmother (motherside) also passed away almost 5 years ago but I have not forgotten her love, caress and affection towards each other. But by the grace of Allaj, my grandmother (fatherside) is still alive. On her son and daughter and us, she is still standing in the shade like a bot tree.
Anyway grandparents are one of the biggest source of care, affection, love and entertainment. This can be realized more when you were kid. You can't describe your childhood without the memory with your grandparents if they were alive then.

দাদা-দাদি এবং নানা-নানী প্রতিটি মানুষের শৈশবকে আরো বেশি রঙিন এবং স্মৃতময় করে তোলে। আপনার চারপাশটা সব চেয়ে আনন্দ এবং ভালোবাসা দিয়ে পরিপূর্ণ করে তোলে এই বৃদ্ধ মানুষ গুলো। তাদের দাঁত বিহীন মুখের তোতলানো কথা গুলো আপনার মন ভালো করে দিবে। তাদের কুঁচকে যাওয়া শরীরের চামরা গুলো আপনি মাঝে মাঝে পলিথিন ভেবে কিছুক্ষণ গবেষণাও করতে পারেন। তাদের কাছে আপনি সব শান্তির গহীন অরণ্যও খুজে পেতে পারেন।
দাদা-দাদি, নানা-নানি কতোটা স্নেহ এবং পরম যত্নে তাদের নাতি- নাতনিদের বড়ো করে সেটি তাদের খুব কাছে থেকে না দেখলে এবং আপনি নিজে তাদের কাছে মানুষ না হলে বুঝতে পারবেন না। এটা এমন একটা সময় যখন আপনি অপরাধ করবেন কিন্তু বাবা-মা আপনাকে বকতে দিয়ে নিজেরাই তাদের বাবা-মার কাছে বকা খেয়ে বসে থাকতো এমন কি এখনও। আমি আমার দাদা এবং নানাকে দেখিনি কিন্তু আমার চারপাশের দাদা, নানাদের ভালোবাসা দেখে আমি তাদের ভালোবাসার উষ্ণতা অনুভব করি। বিশেষ করে বিকেলে যখন দেখি দাদা বা নানাদের হাত ধরে ছোট ছোট ছেলে-মেয়েরা দোকানে চা খেতে যায়।
আমি দেখেছি আমার দাদি, নানিকে। কতোই না মায়ার চাদরে জরিয়ে রাখতো তারা আমাকে। খেলতে খেলতে বাইরে চলে গেলে গেলে তারা আমার পেছনে চলে যেত। আমার ছোট বেলাটায় বেশি দায়িত্ব পালন করেছে আমার দাদী কারন মা তো কাজেই বেশি ব্যস্ত থাকতো।
আমার নানিও মারা গেছেন প্রায় ৫ বছর হলো কিন্তুু ভুলে যায়নি তার ভালোবাসা আদর, স্নেহ এবং একে অপরের সাথে করা খুনসুটি। তবে আল্লাহর অশেষ রহমতে আমার দাদি এখনও বেঁচে আছেন। তার ছেলে মেয়ে এবং আমাদের ওপর এখনও বট গাছের মত ছায়া দিয়ে দাড়িয়ে রয়েছে।
