Hello Beautiful community today I want to talk to you about one of my favorite sweets in Venezuelan Christmas called Panettone, we have all tried panettone at some time: chocolate, candied fruit and raisins, perhaps even a somewhat more exotic ingredient. But how many of us have tried a real panettone? One made with a traditional recipe, using only sourdough for fermentation and with the best quality ingredients. Those of us who have been that lucky know that there is no comparison between one and the other: the aromas, the silky texture of the crumb, aerial, that frays when we separate it between our fingers. A piece that we do not know very well if it is bread or something else, and that gains personality over time.

  • Cut a piece of aluminum foil and line a deep round pan, leaving a protruding edge of paper

  • Drizzle with vegetable oil, combine yeast with hot water

  • Let stand for 5 minutes

  • Pour the mixture into a large bowl and beat as you add the next 8 ingredients.

  • Knead again and make a ball with all the dough

  • Place it in the mold, varnish the top with the butter

  • Make a cross cut in the center

  • Let stand for another hour, and bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes

  • Remove from the mold and pour honey on top.
