It's the 4th day of the Color Splash challenge and it's been really fun so far. I've been learning the technique and I'm starting to gain the kind of skill required to select the best photo for this effect.
The first thing to consider is the color of the subject... hence the color splash effect. The subject has to have the stand-out color among the background elements. It will also help if the focus of the lens is directed to the subject of the photo.
