Making art has always been a process of building something up and destroying something down to be able to build it up again. When drawing, painting, or sculpting, the reason at the bottom of why we create something is some way we can explore parts of our identity.
I think everything about being creative is fleeting. It's trying new arts, different approaches, and collaboration with others that pushes me to feel motivated enough to make these things in the art without ever knowing when it will be over for me as a person.
Our time on this earth is dwindling; we are allowed only one opportunity and with each passing day further away from the possibility to start afresh. But creative ideas always imagines what could if done otherwise.
One insight among professional artists is that indulging in self-pity and misery once a piece of art is completed might do as much harm to your quality as you would want. People of adventure frequently discover insights or pleasures similar to delights.
The key point is being simple and being dignified with simplicity. You will always crave finer things, but those imperceptible treasures do not reside within you; they are only within your imagination. To receive them from reality requires a lot of effort and confession. Many people search for wonders that protect their talent, yet remain savage on the inside by keeping other species down power, wealth, influence...
