Karthigai Deepam, Thrikarthika or Karthikai Vilakkidu is a festival of lights that is observed by Hindus of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Sri Lanka. Tamil Nadu celebrates Karthigai Deepam as a traditional festival.
On the day a famous temple Tiruvannamalai they fire a large size lamp on the top of the mountains and we pray to god.
