Today is March 14, World Pie (6) Day. Pie Day is a day of celebration in honor of the mathematical constant pi (π). The value of pi is about 3.14. Every year, March 14 is observed by mathematicians all over the world as Pi Day.
Pie Day is sometimes celebrated on March 14 at 1:59 p.m. On this day, 1:59:26 pm is called pi second. By celebrating Pie Day in Pie Seconds, it is possible to celebrate Pie Day at a time close to the value of Pie (3.1415926).
