Hi friends, congratulations on celebrating Eid al-Fitr for those who celebrate it. After fasting for a month, all Muslims around the world are getting ready to welcome victory in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

In Indonesia itself, the government through its Isbat session has decided that Eid Al-Fitr falls on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The end of Ramadan also marks the start of the month of Shawwal and therefore the celebration of Eid al-Fitr has its own meaning for all Muslims.

Eid al-Fitr was first celebrated by Muslims in the 2nd year of Hijriah, which coincided with the events of Badr, when the Muslims won a large-scale war victory for the first time.

The war that occurred on 17 Ramadan occurred because of the action of market monopoly and blockade of trading activities by the Quraish of Mecca against the Muslims of Medina. The troops led by Abu Jahl brought a large army of around 1,000 soldiers complete with war equipment, while the Prophet from the direction of Medina only brought 300 companions who then headed for Badr.

Although the number of the Prophet's army was much smaller than the infidels, by Allah's permission the Muslims managed to achieve a miraculous victory. This of course has a very big meaning because the Muslims who have been the target of ridicule have returned to gain confidence and respect from various circles.

On this first Eid al-Fitr celebration, Muslims celebrate two first victories, namely the achievement of the Ramadan fasting ritual after struggling to endure hunger, thirst and lust, as well as success in the Battle of Badr. The meaning of victory also has two perspectives, spiritual and social.

But in fact, long before the teachings of Islam came down, Arab society already had two holidays, namely Nairuz and Mahrajan which originated from ancient Persian times. They celebrate by holding debauchery. As the obligation to perform the fasting service of Ramadan in the 2nd year of Hijriah decreases, the hadith of the Prophet came down. "Indeed, Allah replaced the two holidays with better ones, namely Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha."

Ok, that's the history of Eid al-Fitr, continued with today's story, starting with the limited homecoming which made Eid al-Fitr less in my opinion, because usually the custom during holidays is to gather with family and forgive each other, and also the prohibition of gathering with family. Also limited to making Eid this time seem less sacred to me and empty like colorless, but even though we are beset by these shortcomings, we can still enjoy Eid even though the world is in turmoil.

And for me, seeing the beauty of nature is also a blessing for Eid which I am very grateful for, I took this photo in the afternoon on the outskirts of my house, and I used the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra camera with the following specs:
