Hello friends welcome to my blog today I'm here to write in response to the ongoing contest by @bright-obias, thanks for reading through this post.

Before I start I will like us to have a brief knowledge about what plant and geographical plant is.

PLANT
Plant is a living organism that can manufacture its own food through sun light and carbondioxide which is known as photosynthesis by the present of green pigments which is chlorophyll. They observe and inorganic substance through their roots.

All plant are green that's because of the presence of the green pigment known as chlorophyll. Example of plant are shrub, trees flowers, herbs, grasses, ferns, mosses (mosses are those green things that grows on our fence or old blocks) you can scrap them. etc.

I'm a citizen of Nigeria, and here we are blessed with so much geographical green(PLANT) which are of great importance to our environment.

tomatoes etc..

For this post I will write about a tree known as palm which is my best geographical green.

Palm tree is an unbranched evergreen tree of tropical and warm regions, with a crown of very long feathered or fan-shaped leaves, and typically having old leaf scars forming a regular pattern on the trunk.

Economic importance of palm tree

Plam trees is very important as it can be used to construct furniture which we can use to build, and beauty our home with good wooden chairs and dining tables,
palm trees is very important in my geographical region as its fruit can be use to produce oil in oil mil, or oil industries which we can use to prepare some delicious food.
the seed of the palm kernel can be used to produce kernel oil which adult and babies can rob it as it is good for the skin.
the raffia palm is also important as it can be used to produce broom which serve as a cleaning agent by sweeping the house.

Life spam of palm tree

Palm trees is made of different specie so to determine the life spam you have to study the various species but generally some specie can live up to 40 years while so can leave to 100 years all depend on the specie.

Geographical importance of palm tree

Palm trees can be used as ornamental plant, ornamental plants are plants that are grown for decorative purpose, to beautify an environment either for homes or garden etc

Palm is important because it can shade away sun as for relaxation
It is used to decorate beach which can serve as a tourist center.

IN CONCLUSION

Plants are vital in every part of the world even in human as they give us oxygen and store carbondioxide which they use to manufacture their own food, plant serves as good for both animals and humans. Plants such as cover crop protect the soil and enrich it with more nutrients. Plants prevent soil erosion as trees can serve as barrier to wind reducing the ability to carry big soil particle. With my above points let encourage afforestation and avoid deforestation.
