April is a summer that never stops, almost a whole month we enjoy a summer that makes us nervous and hot. The more populations that show up, the more widespread the drought we feel.
We have several pictures of animals that we often encounter in every place, they are species of small animals that coexist with the wider community.
Musca vetustissima, commonly known as the Australian bush fly, is a species of fly found in Australia.
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Insecta
Order: Diptera
Family: Muscidae
Subfamily: Muscinae
Tribe: Muscini
Genus: Musca
Species: M. vetustissima
The black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) is a type of fly that is commonly found in places where organic waste is found. These larvae use the waste as a food source. The ability of larvae to eat organic waste is because in their intestines there are cellulolytic bacteria that produce cellulase enzymes that play a role in cellulose hydrolysis. Utilization of organic waste indirectly helps reduce this waste so that it plays a role in handling organic waste.
Drosophila melanogaster is a type of winged insect that belongs to the order Diptera, (the nation of flies). This species is commonly known as fruit flies in experimental biology libraries (although there are many other types of fruit flies) and is the model organism most widely used in the study of genetics, physiology and the evolution of life history.
D. melanogaster is popular because it is very easy to breed (only takes two weeks to complete the entire life cycle), easy to maintain, and has many phenotypic variations that are relatively easy to observe.
I cite scientific sources from the website, to share information for all of you, to make it easier to find out about these common insects.
This is the best range of summer insects that have survived to date in the tropics.
