Hello my steemit friends, am here to write about a very popular fruit but very important in my area called pawpaw. What is pawpaw?

Pawpaw is a fruit with a yellow flesh; related to custard apples. It is also be called “Papaya” (botanical name).

Uses of pawpaw in my area: Now this fruit called Papaya is very important in my area, example: Pawpaw can be used as a native medicine in my area to treat fever, vomiting, pain and swelling of the mouth and throat, and some important parts of pawpaw used in the preparation medicine are the bark, leaf and seed. We are going to look into the Environmental and Economic factor of pawpaw in my area.

Environmental factors are:

1. For local medicine.
2. Serves as fruit to use.
3. Can serve as food to our domestic animals.

Economic factors are:

1. Used as fruit.
2. Can sold for income.
3. Used in producing pawpaw juice.

Lets talk about the life span of pawpaw in my area. In my area pawpaw fruit can only be fruitful during raining season, so its life span is between 5 and 7 months.
