Good day dear friends of Steem Geography community. I am Stephen Onokpasa. I am a Nigerian and I am married with three wonderful children. I work with my state civil service in the department of Fisheries in the ministry of Agriculture and Natural resources. I live in the town of Sapele in Delta State.
I joined Steemit in September of 2020. I really like Steemit and I enjoy my stay here thus far. My main reasons for liking Steemit is that it gives me exposure to the broader cryptocurrency world and besides I love to write, read and cook and I get to indulge in my hobbies creatively here on Steemit.
Steem Geography is one of my most favourite communities in Steemit and this is because I have always loved the subject of Geography as a student years ago and even in the present. My most favourite TV stations are National Geography and National Geography Wild. I love nature and it's elements and I love writing articles on geographical themes. Steem Geography offers me opportunity to indulge in one of my most favourite subjects.
In my town of Sapele, the closest and most popular geographical landmark which also happens to be one of my most favourite geographical feature is the Ethiope river. I actually learned how to swim in the Ethiope river so I have some affection for it. It is an important river in my state and it flows through four different towns including my home town of Sapele. It's about 50km long and functions as an important water way route for boats and a rich habitat for edible aquatic species.
Thanks for reading my introduction to Steem Geography, bye for now and stay safe.
