This Is The Time of A Great Shivaratri Moment
16.07.2020
This is the great Shivaratri. The one who is located here is the god of our Hindus, we all call him Lord Shiva. But Lord Shiva is also called the blue voice because he had poison in his throat when the sea rose. This place is located in our town of Barasat and Shivaratri is celebrated here every year.
Every year water is poured on the head of Lord Shiva here from evening till night and lots of devotees flock there. Devotees wait in long lines all night from evening to pour water on the head of Lord Shiva and worship him. Devotees celebrate this great Shivaratri every year with a lot of hype. Apart from Shivaratri, this place is kept open for some time every evening.
Many people come to this place in the evening, sit by the water and go away again. It is also a wonderful time to spend the evening sitting in this place, because there is beautiful lighting everywhere and a beautiful moment to see the colourful fish in the water.
Artists have created these in a very beautiful way. In the middle of the water, the idol of Lord Shiva is made of stone with its trident, a snake wrapped around its neck, a dugdugi in its hand and a jatayu on its head through which water is gushing out. Next to it is a fountain-like system, with a coconut tree behind it that looks like Mount Kailash. By making all these things, they have made the place a perfect example of evening time for everyone.
