The first day in Sinabang (Simeulue Island) I finished with a light agenda to tour the city.
Sinabang City is the capital city of Simeulue district, the city is very small, when compared to other regency capital cities, even though it is small and not well ordered, the stretch of life and the circulation of money in this city is truly amazing, the abundant sea products are a source of the main income of local residents, in this sector is able to provide income for cross-professions, ranging from fishermen, collectors, retail traders, to exporters who can reap the benefits of the sea products of Simeulue Island.
Lobster
Lobster is one of the mainstays of marine products whose population is still abundant here, Lobster caught by fishermen or cultivated products is sold in various conditions, Some are sold in living conditions (fresh) which are specially packaged so that they can last 3 times 24 hours of travel. Also sold in the form of Frozen Lobster, besides that Lobster is also sold in the form of ready-to-eat processed food as one of the typical culinary delights of Simeulue Island.
Processed lobsters are served in various forms and types of dishes, from fried lobster, lobster curry and the most popular is the Aceh Lobster Noodle dish, apart from serving it which doesn't take long, the taste is also very familiar to the Indonesian tongue and taste
Throughout our observations, Aceh Lobster Noodle is a mandatory menu for every guest visiting Simeulue Island, I have also tried it several times.
