It's that time of year!

My favorite flowers are edible. As for those that aren't "joining us for dinner," I like perennials. When a flower comes back year after year and just continues to bloom and spread, it's welcome here and we sure enjoy them. These irises came from a variety of friends, and they remind us of them whenever we see them bloom. I spent some time photographing a few in the garden and by the pond earlier. Enjoy!

        What beautiful irises, they always remind me of my grandmother because her house used to have many and she always took great care of them, very beautiful photographs and how beautiful nature is!
