Introductory post: Hello to all!

Hello to all!

I am a newbie here. I am Pema from Bhutan, a small Himalayan nation in South Asia. Bhutan is known for its unique developmental philosophy called Gross National Happiness (GNH).

I have joined this community as I am passionate about photography. I like traveling and taking pictures.

I want to share regular updates to what I am up to with this community members.

Here is a few photo I have taken:

Paro International Airport is the only airport in Bhutan that caters to international flights.

Bhutan is known for its rich biodiversity resources. The Constitution of Bhutan mandates the country to remain 60% under forest cover for all times to come. Featured above is one of the species of poppies which grows at alpine regions of Bhutan.

Preservation of culture is one of the pillars of Gross National Happiness. Featured above is from one of the local festival which called Tshechu in Dzongkha.
