It's loud and reeks of diesel fumes. Also somewhat beautiful in a grim way.
The berm is to save the ugly ass expensive A.F. beach front homes in case a big storm and swell shows up.
I'm the guy waiting for the waves. Will they come? I hope so. No I don't want anyones home to be damaged. I just want to see some big surf and take photos.
