¡Hola comunidad! Hace meses que quería iniciar en mi blog una serie fotográfica, pero no me llegaba a la cabeza ninguna idea hasta que me puse a revisar mis archivos y me di cuenta que en los viajes que he hecho por tierra he tomado muchas fotos de los paisajes que veía por la ventana mientras iba en la vía, entonces se me ocurrió este tema para mi primera Foto Serie aquí en Steemit: Paisajes por la carretera.

Months ago I wanted to start a photographic series on my blog, but no idea came to my mind until I started to review my files and realized that on the trips I have made by land I have taken many photos of the landscapes that I was looking out the window while on the road, so I came up with this topic for my first Photo Series here at Steemit: Landscapes by the Road.

En este primer número les traigo imágenes de un viaje que hice al estado Guárico en Venezuela, ubicado en la región de Los Llanos, zona emblemática de la identidad cultural del país por ser cuna de la música llanera (¡arpa, cuatro y maracas!) y el baile del joropo, las expresiones más populares del folklore nacional.

In this first issue, I bring you images of a trip I made to the Guárico state in Venezuela, located in The Plains region, an emblematic area of the country's cultural identity for being the cradle of "llanera" music (harp, cuatro and maracas!) and "joropo" dance, the most popular expressions of national folklore.

Guárico, al igual que los demás estados llaneros de Venezuela como Apure, Barinas, Cojedes o Portuguesa, se caracteriza por presentar extensiones infinitas de tierra con muy pocas elevaciones o cerros.

Guárico, like the other states of The Plains of Venezuela such as Apure, Barinas, Cojedes or Portuguesa, is characterized by presenting infinite extensions of land with very few elevations or hills.

Este es un estado cruzado por muchos ríos y además tiene varias represas que son usadas para el riego de los cultivos como arroz, maíz y sorgo.

This is a state crossed by many rivers and also has several dams that are used for irrigation of cereal crops such as rice, corn and sorghum.

Cuando viajas por carretera y pasas por zonas despobladas donde no hay montañas, ese horizonte sin interrupciones pareciera que se moviera contigo, sientes que te sigue.

When you travel by road and go through unpopulated areas where there are no mountains, that horizon without interruptions seems to move with you, you feel that it follows you.

Mientras iba mirando por la ventana capturé varios paisajes que viajaban a mi lado y que describen perfectamente la geografía del estado Guárico.

While I was looking out the window I captured various landscapes that traveled next to me and that perfectly describe the geography of the Guárico state.
