How's it going hive?
So I have finally found some time to go through some photos from the fifth instalment of the BLADE BATTLE rollerblade competition that went down at Ballina skatepark in New South Wales Australia.
Once again we had a great turn out of skaters from all across Australia with crews from each state represented!
Brett and Bert the organisers of the blade Battle are now in their 5th year of running this competition, and what they do for our sport is a God send... They're keeping it alive!
Since all the lock downs in Australia this was the first comp where we could all meet up again, and it was so awesome to see everyone in person again.
This skatepark has some nice bowls with long coping and a really fun up across and down ledge.
But the highlight obstacle of the course was the Blade Battle sub box that joined two bowls together.
The competition consisted of under 18s, bladies, OG's (over 40's) and opens.
Everyone skated amazing on the day!.. So many tech tricks and big stunts went down!
It was so good to see the next generation of skaters battle it out in the under 18s category 😊
Competition sure was tough in the opens category.
Here are the final results.
