It's funny when you're skeptical about something, but then you're so desperate and willing to try anything to make it better, it ends up being the best thing you could have done.
So I was a great "sleeper" up until I was 23 or 24 and then all of a sudden it went from great to poor, and a couple of years later from poor to almost non-existent.
Of course, when you're young, you can handle it as you have a lot of energy and strength, but you'll eventually get to the point where that begin to vanish as well and you get into a cycle that you can no longer endure.
For me that happened a few months ago (I'm now 34). Basically due to a lot of stressors (family, relationships, work, etc) I just wasn't able to sleep anymore, I was probably sleeping 2 to 4 hours a night (best case scenario), so what did I do, when to my doctor and he prescribed me benzodiazepines.
In the beggining it felt great, I was sleeping like a baby, 8 hours a night, feeling refreshed in the morning, but of course a few months in my body got used to them and they didn't work anymore, and on top of everything I now had to taper off the benzo's.
So I started reading a bit about CBD and the effects it had on your nervous system and more specifically on your sleep.
I bought my first bottle of CBD oil and although the first few weeks I didn't feel that much different, it began to work it's magic. I've been using 6 drops every night for the past 3 months and although I can't say that my sleep is now perfect, I can definitely say that I've been sleeping better than I have for the past 3 years, and I feel definitely more energetic too.
Now, is it too soon to say that CBD has changed my life? Definitely yes, but at least I don't have to deal with any side effects, and it also doesn't cause any addiction.
If any of you out there struggle with sleep and ran out of ideas on how to make it better, I would say, try CBD and who knows, maybe it works for you too!
You might enjoy to check out the @canna-community. :) Yes, it's very helpful for sleep issues. You might also try tulsi - it's a powerful adaptogen and super at modulating sleep cycles. I simply dry the tulsi krishna and use it to make a refreshing tea- warm or iced - with a squeeze of lime.

Thank you for the tip. I've never heard of Tulsi so I'll definitely try it and give you my opinion on it. Once again thank you for helping!

I definitely hear that about sleep loss. It's a vicious cycle where less sleep means mire stress resulting in less sleep. For me, ashwanghwa instead of coffee and meditation helped.
