The diary game||14 January 2023|| A memorable wedding

Hello, fellow steemians of this group. It’s been a while I posted on here because work has taken most of my time. I hope you are all hanging in there

I am here today to share with you a memorable day I had with friends and family. Everyday is a memorable day of course but some days are worth sharing for others to also share in your joy.

This day was going to be a very joyous day because my boss at work was finally getting married. We had travelled the previous day from Navrongo all the way to Tema in Accra so all of us were literally tired. We lodged at a very nice hotel in the town to rest for the wedding day.

Finally on this very day, I had a call very early in the morning at around 6:00am. I was called to come take breakfast which was supposed to be given to all the people that travelled from Navrongo. I went downstairs for the food and started my room to room service. Truth be told, I felt like I was part of the room service crew. It was fun though. After about 30 minutes, I was done sharing the food.

Some people left the hotel every early in the morning so I met their absence. That meant more food for me. I freshened up and because the program was at 3:00pm, I went to Ashiaman to meet a long time friend. She was very happy to see me. We had a little chat and after about 3 hours, I left because the time was fast approaching.

I went back to the hotel, dressed up and we all left for the wedding. Apparently, the wedding was put at 3:00pm because there was another wedding on that same day. The wedding started and the atmosphere was just amazing. It was all smiles on that day. In a nutshell, we really had fun.

I was like the protocol leader so I was the one organizing the refreshment and making sure everybody had food to eat on my crew. The wedding came to an end at around 6:30pm and it was time for pictures. We took a lot of pictures, there was cake cutting and Champaign popping. There was a cocktail on the side for sipping, there was dancing. The whole program was fun and even made me feel like getting married but one step at a time and they always say.

I really had fun on that day and I am sure all of us had fun too. @Edmund.nef was around and I am sure had also had fun as well. We went round greeting each other for acquaintance purposes. It always good to build your network of friends.
