This classic recipe does not cease to be relevant to this day! Potatoes in our family are a cult vegetable. I know for sure that any potato food and any culinary recipe based on potatoes will sooner or later be prepared in our kitchen.
One of the most beloved recipes, which has always been popular since childhood, is potato casserole.
Fragrant fried meat with vegetables is hidden between two layers of delicate puree. This dish is very simple, but so delicious that you will love it for sure.
Ingredients
- Potatoes 1,500 g
- Salt taste
- Vegetable oil 2-4 st. spoons
- Chopped meat 750 g
- Bow 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Ground black pepper taste
- Ground nutmeg taste
- Bay leaves 2-3 pieces
- Butter 100 g + for lubrication
- Sour cream 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Hard cheese 200 g

Preparation
- Peel potatoes and place in a saucepan. Pour in water, salt and boil until soft.
2 ․ Meanwhile, heat the oil in a skillet. Place the minced meat there and fry, stirring occasionally, until the meat changes color from red to light brown.
3 ․ Add chopped onions and grated carrots. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, add lavrushka.
Stir and cook for a few more minutes to soften the vegetables. Add finely chopped greens if desired. Remove bay leaves.
Drain the liquid from the finished potatoes. Purée with a pusher, adding butter and sour cream.
6 ․ Mix the puree with half the grated cheese.
7 ․ Grease a baking dish with butter. Spoon half of the potatoes and flatten.
- Place the minced meat on top and cover with the other half of the puree. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in oven at 180 ° C for 20-25 minutes. The top should be browned.
