Pacific Rim Brief Review (2013)

This film itself is themed about a giant creature called Kaijhu with Jaeger which is a large robot created by humans. This film itself tells the story of a series of attacks carried out by these Kaijhu monsters on the surface of the earth, they enter the human dimension through a portal created by their creator named Pegasus.

As the intensity of the attacks increases over time, humans unite and create giant fighting robots called jaegers. Jaeger itself must be controlled by 2 pilots who can connect their 2 minds in order to work.

Long story short, after the barrage of attacks from these Kaijhu monsters. There are only 2 jaeger left and have to do a portal closing mission between 2 worlds, these two robots are named Gipsy Danger and Striker. Striker has a mission to blow himself up inside the portal so that their world connection is cut off while Gipsy is in charge of guarding Striker until the mission is complete.

However, in the middle of the mission the monsters attacked and the striker had to detonate more of the crew because it was already in a state of complete destruction, the plans changed after the attack. Striker detonates to kill the monster and pave the way for Gipsy to enter the portal because Gipsy can also detonate himself because it is nuclear-based as its main power.

After the Striker blew himself up and the path to the portal opened, Gipsy immediately entered the portal and was able to get to the world of monsters. It was there that the gypsies were blown up and the link between their two worlds was severed.
