Nanga Parbat also known as "Killer Mountain" is one of the ninth highest peak in the world with an altitude of about 8126 metres above sea level. It is locally known as "Diamer". It is located in Diamer District , Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.
The mountain name Nanga Parbat means " Naked Mountain". Its death rate is 22.3%. It is always covered with snow.
Nanga Parbat is the third most dangerous mountain in the world. More than 40 climbers out of 209 have died during its climb. Like K2 ,Nanga Parbat had never been climbed in winter. Some climbers tried ,but they died.
Nanga Parbat is very dangerous to climb due to its cold atmosphere. The local people also believe that there are wdild animals like snow leapords in it.
Some climbers claimed that this mountain also contain some evil creatures.
Nanga Parbat was first climbed by the Austrian climber HERMANN BUHUL in on July 3,1953.
The path of Nanga Parbat is very dangerous but it is very beautiful. Most of the travellers who came to visit this mountain usually comes to Islamabd ,the Capital Of Pakistan and probably be one of the most beautiful capitals in world.
Then visitors went to Gilgit Baltistan.
Most of the visitors go through Naran and Kaghan valleys because they are very beautiful. And then they reach Diamer District. From Diamer , there comes a point through which you have to take jeeps and went through one of the most deadlist roads of the world.
)Then a point comes, from where you have to track for about 3 hours. The track is very beautiful but dangerous. The track leads through dry mountains at first and then through beautiful forests and streams. Then finally comes the point at the top of mountain known as FAIRY MEADOWS. Its not less than a heaven.

Here you can have facilities of hotels, restaurants and night fun. Also there are a few ponds. Visitors mostly stay for a day there and then after proper rest move towards Bayal Camp which is the base camp. Its also a few hours track and then comes the Base Camp. From there, the climbers start climbing it.
