Causes of insomnia:
There are various reasons behind insomnia or lack of sleep. There are two main reasons, mental and physical. People can also fall into this problem due to habit and environmental reasons.

Remedy for insomnia:
First you have to find out the reason for not sleeping. If you have trouble sleeping due to any physical illness or mental stress, that reason has to be eliminated.
You can't go to bed before or after 11 o'clock at night. Only go to bed at the scheduled time of sleep.
Create a sleeping environment with no noise, soft and secluded, comfortable and tidy bed-pillows, with lights off or lights on.
If you can't sleep within 20 minutes of going to bed, don't waste time trying to sleep. Instead, get up and do something that seems boring. After a while you have to go to bed again. Try again for 20 minutes and if you can't sleep, you have to get up.
Tea and coffee should not be taken after evening.
Lettuce is very beneficial for sleep. Lettuce contains anti-cramping agents, which help you fall asleep. So put lettuce on the food list.
Dinner should be finished at least one and a half to two hours before going to bed.
Drink a glass of warm milk or a glass of water before going to bed.
When you fall asleep, you should go to sleep immediately. No work should be done for a long time before going to sleep.
Try to go to bed at a certain time every day and wake up.
You should not go to bed with hungry.
Avoid drugs and smoking.
You can take a shower before going to bed. It will feel fresh and you will sleep well.
You should not sleep too much in the afternoon. If possible, it should be omitted altogether.
Warning:
Many people buy sleeping pills on their own if they do not sleep. It should not be at all. Do not take any sleeping pills without doctor's advice.
