This is a story of a home maker name Susan. She is 41 years old woman. She has two school going kids. Her husband is a service holder. She have a happy family. Today in this blog I'm going to share the story of Susan's birth day. She woke up as always early in the morning made breakfast for kids and husband. As always her husband woke up and got ready for office. Her husband doesn't pay attention to her and Susan take it very normally as she is not an attractive lady like before.
She was slim, beautiful and confident girl when she was unmarried. She was attractive too as many boys proposed her in her school and college days but she didn't focus on that. Now after 15 years of married life she is a fat and unattractive and she accept her as she is. All day long she work for home, cook foods for family, wash cloths and take care of her family. Working pressure made her life exhausted and she never take care of herself. She has dark circle around her eyes and dry patches in skin. As always her kids went to school and her husband went to the office.
Susan got upset and missed her old days when her husband gave her surprise gifts and they wend for long drive. She looks to the mirror after many days later and she was unable to recognize herself, she is getting old for the stress of work at home for giving family service 24x7. She decide to go out to find some moments for her own and left a letter to her family to inform them that she will be unavailable at home for few hours. She wants to celebrate her birth day her own. She decide to do all those things she like to do before marriage, so she did some shopping from her savings and dressed well.
She went to beauty salon for dressing her hair and color it, she also take skin treatment. She believes that we should find our own happiness and we shouldn't wait that someone else will bring happiness for us. She watched a movie in theater, she went to the park she often visit there when she was a college students. She enjoyed the breeze of evening and take a long breath as she forgets to take a long breath for a long time. She had street foods, sweets she like and enjoyed things she love to have. She gave herself a treat for women's day. As there was no one to make her day special.
She was happy that she made her day awesome and she lived full on for the day and now she have to go back to her regular life and have to cook for her kids and husband. She has no complain to her life but she needs a break from her regular boring life and also need to have the attention and love from her family and that was something she was missing for such a long time so she decide to celebrate her women's day this way.
After driving a long way she came back to home and there was no light and she thought no one came to the house. So she puts on the light and she saw something really unexpected and surprising. Her five years old son and 12 years old daughter was standing with a birthday greeting card they made themselves. And her husband came out from the kitchen with a big cake for her to wish her a very happy birth day. Susan's eyes were teary , her husband asked for a long drive tonight and she was tired but she said yes as she was waiting for this day for such long time.
Susan's dedication to her family was not ignored and all the women need to be valued for her dedication and sacrifice. She was feeling special and she was feeling a successful homemaker. Hats off to all home makers.
