As for time management, my cognition will be upgraded every time.

At the beginning, I thought that the core of time management lies in time, so I often plan time, such as how I should arrange every hour.

However, if the core of time management is defined as time, it is often difficult for us to focus on doing things well. Once time is not enough, our attention will drop, and we will be anxious and fidgety, and we will not finish what we should do within the stipulated time.

Later, after listening to an entrepreneur talk about time management, I realized that the core of time management lies in things, that is, doing things, dividing the things to be done every day according to the importance of urgency, what to do first, what to do later, and not paying attention to time.

In the previous article, I wrote a model of the importance of urgency, which is divided into four areas according to the mathematical quadrant: important and urgent, important and not urgent, unimportant and urgent, and not important or urgent.

According to these four areas, we classify the things we do every day, so that the order of doing things will be very clear.
Recently, when I was reading the book Continuous Action, a part of it mentioned time management, which caused me to think.

First of all, the author throws out his own understanding of time management. He thinks that the core of time management lies not in time, but in management.

Manage what? Manage things.

This understanding coincides with the important urgency template I wrote above.

Secondly, there is a sentence in the book: the ultimate goal of time management is to achieve the goal.

When I saw this sentence, I didn't feel anything at first, but I will find the secret after repeated pondering.

According to the author's understanding, the core of time management lies in managing things. When we manage things well according to the important urgency, then what we have to do next is to finish them one by one, and the completion must have goals and results. From the first thing, we must hold a good attitude.

In other words, if we have three things to do today, and we divide them according to the important urgency model, which of these three things should be done first, then, and finally, but the first thing we do takes a long time, and little time is reserved for the latter two things, then even so, we should do the first thing well.

I agree with this view, but I have extended my thinking on it. We need to reflect and summarize in this process. What does the lack of time mean? Have we arranged too many things for ourselves? Shall we get rid of some things we can't do and reduce three things to two?

In this way, we can do a better job of time management, and do a better job of time management that is more suitable for ourselves.

At the end of this part of the book, two important factors of time management are also described. I think the author's thinking on time management is quite meticulous.

These two important factors are: doing more things and keeping emotional stability.

To do more is not to put on airs, or to do things well, one by one, with a goal and a purpose.

Maintaining emotional stability means focusing. The premise of focusing is to ensure physical fitness. Physical fitness includes energy and physical strength. Replenishing energy can be achieved through proper rest and emptying, and supplementing physical strength can be achieved through proper diet.

Through reading this part, you will find that the author thinks deeply about time management.

First grasp the core of time management, and then analyze the details of time management step by step.

With the core and details, the problem of time management can be solved easily.

Hello my fellow Steemians!

The last few days have been rough. I have been pretty quiet about everything. There hasn't been much for me to say because I am in the same boat as most of you. While I knew of the acquisition, the contents of the press release Friday morning was as much news to me as it was to you. I have come to realize that not having anything to say is worth saying all on its own.

I want to thank those of you that have reached out to myself and others on the team.

hey, what makes you upset?
