The food we ate is surely influence from where we live. Here are the foods that I always crave and makes my day. Something that I don't eat or prepare as often. They are most likely the food that I am looking for that when you think of it, you feel like you will never be at peace if you can't eat it. So you make ways to get you bump out the market and buy ingredients and start cooking.

Want to delete it from phone but why not share it here before doing so. Taking photos of food has been one of the things I do because why not? It's a blessing and a reminder that we are bless on that day. It is what we ask all the time from God. Yes, I thank you Lord for everything and specially the food on our table. I also pray that everyone has something to eat and not hungry.

Quarantine days cooking time:

This is pork sinigang, a sour base soup that soothes thy stomach. I skip eating pork for a while but when the taste buds looks for soury soup then I had to buy pork. To my surprised at the market, it pricy this time with a whooping 350.00 pesos per kilo, almost double. I only bought just enough slice and also the veges that goes with it. This is one of my comfort food.

This is puto maya, sticky rice cooked in coconut milk. My town Hilongos is famous for this, I mean when you say Hilongos or if you are a local then surely if you describe or if you are away from home for a while and ask what you miss in your place, this is one of it. Here I did not have the complete ingredients because I couldn't find it here in the City but I just complimented it with the coffee. Puto sikwate or Puto with pure tablea cocoa, Puto with sweetened mung beans we call Puto ramble. When we prefer a combination of all. Ah! I miss that in our town, before when we had time to went to town which was not a norm because its was far and we did not had convenience of a transportation.

This is simple breakfast. Fried rice with fried dried fish. Nothing much to say. I crave this again while writing here 😂. Oh the thought of it. I must cook this again tomorrow morning.

This last one today is the lumpiang Taugi or beans sprout spring rolls. I waited for 3 days for this mung beans to grow so I could enjoy a crunchy goodness of it. I prefer to grow my own bean sprouts because I enjoy doing it. I am always amaze how the beans turned into slimmy twigs after constant watering. Try it it is easy.

I only want to post my food photos but I had so much to say.😂

Stay safe friends.

Yes, I love sinigang but I would usually have the shrimp version. A lot of the food you bring up really reminds me of my childhood.

Oh but beef steak and tapa are ones I would add. Easy to cook but so tasty 💕

Wonderful post, thanks for sharing!
