Tomato Rasam ( Soup) / Thakkali Rasam Recipe
- Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 4 Dry chili
- 2 stick Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 Big onion sliced
- 2 inch Chopped Ginger
- 7 Chopped Garlic cloves
- Blend the spices below to powder and cook for 1 minute:
3 tsp Coriander seeds
2 tsp Cumin seeds
2 tsp Fennel seeds
1 tsp Black pepper corn - A pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
- 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Blend together with following ingredients:
5 Tomatoes
1 Green chili
2 stick Coriander leave
½ cup Water - 4 cups Water
- Salt to taste
- Boil all for 1 minute
- Lastly, add chopped coriander leaves
