I forgot how much art is shown in hospitals but was reminded to it as I visited this doctors' group that houses a "poli" of the hospital as well in the basement.
I had a look since no one was around, climbed 3 stairs, had a look at the frontdoor, I asked around, searched on the internet but the name of the artist is unknown (I keep searching).
I did not take a painting of the wall to look at the back like a lady suggested. It can be it's one of the doctors'?It's common to add a name and title (usually, also a price tag) to the art shown in hospitals for those interested.

In a way, these paintings remind me of the "colour the numbers" pictures available though the style differs. Big strokes and dots make the scenery blurry if you are not able to watch it from a distance.
The average painting has a size of 70 x 60 centimetres or more (only 3 smaller ones). It must be fun to have room to make this. Not many have. The average house is small but who knows the artist uses the living, lives in a bungalow or villa changes the kitchen into a studio or only paints on a summer day outside abroad.
The sceneries aren't Dutch and although yellow, and orange are used a lot they feel a bit dark. They do have one thing in common which is a spot of light coming through which attracts attention.
Let's not only walk at a slower pace but take the time as well to let ourselves be amazed by what is created by all those people we live among and make our lives beautiful.

Update: I went back to the doctors' office and lifted the smaller painting of the wall. At the back is written: Sophie Bekkering 2016 - the name of the painter. See https://www.sophiebekkering.com/

The artist is very confident with his choice of colours and I really find that fascinating. You could get his name or signature on any of the works?
