Using the contest tips given by the community, I will explain in my understanding what value of friendship is.

Understanding the Value of Friendship

Friendship needs time and efforts on both ends. Friendship is not an individual thing and as such, we must learn how to prioritize, nurture and maintain what is being shared. In friendship, everyone has their roles to play, showing gratitude to your friends, communicate with them, treating them with kindness, respect and sharing in their growth, success, and sorrow will definitely place a VALUE on the friendship.

Can we Share Various Things with Friends that we Can't Share with Our Blood Relation?

Yes, personally I feel safe sharing must of my things with my friend than blood relation. There are certain things to share with family. Friends understands each other and won't have judgemental attributes and being that in friendship, the people involved are peers, it is very easy to express yourself freely, confide with trust and understanding.

My First Close Friend

I met my first close friend 14 years ago. We were neighbors and also turned out to be high school classmates. We became friends and at some point do everything together with love and trust. We shared a strong bond during that time but as time goes on, I relocated to another city, changed school and we only communication through our parents' phone. Growing up to be an adults, she also relocated to another far city which can take two days to reach on road trip. Currently, we only chat and communicate online.

Memorable Incidents with my Friends

I had beautiful memories with my friend while we were much younger, we do absolutely everything together then and usually act like twins. As we all know, friendships are not that rose as we think. It requires a lot of work, trust, respect and understanding to maintain friendship.

I will share funny and annoying incident that happened once between us. This fateful day, we both met in class during lunch time and the previous day I saw her Dad using razor blades to remove all her hairs so it will grow properly again. I was curious to see if her was growing so I removed the school barrette she wore to cover her scalp. Everyone started laughing at her, it was funny though. I felt bad and embarrassed because I was unable to protect her and every action was my fault. She was mad at me and she started acting weird until I relocated. Once, she called me on my birthday and we talked about the incident, laughed and put it behind since it happened during childhood.

I will invite @eliany, @ruthjoe and @josepha to join the contest. Thank you!
