Our locality is a place where we feel comfortable and leave a healthy life, I enjoy staying in my locality because it makes me happy and comfortable there are lots of natural things to witness there and I enjoyed living in my locality.
I must say a big thanks to @sduttaskitchen for organising this wonderful contest, and may God continue to bless you.

Why is your locality precious to you?

My locality is very precious to me because it's where I grew up since I was a child. I feel comfortable living here as we are in a safe environment since I came to my area. I haven't witnessed any war or attack, unlike other neighbouring communities where there are always fights and uncertainty.

I live in the Barracks and you all know how a barracks look like, they is discipline and respect inside the barracks and loving inside have make me a better person in life as it contributed to my success and wellbeing in life.

As a barrack boy I live a free life and I do things in a very good way because of how I grew up, anyone who is caught stealing or caught doing something that is against the law will be severely punished and banished from the barracks.

There is always electricity supply, good water and also games to keep you entertained, it's a very beautiful place that I promise you when you visit you will definitely enjoy your time living inside the barracks.
Seeing soldiers every day on uniform and learning how to be a good person in the future, I must admit that my locality has helped me to become a better person.

This is the Army headquarters where the commanding officer and other soldiers work.
Here is where all the documents in our barracks are kept, they is computer and other devices inside the headquarters, and here is where we welcome all visitors to the barracks.

This is where I fetch water. This tap has really helped in supplying water in many houses in my locality.
The tap was built in 2014 by our commanding officer then, and since then, the scarcity of water in our barracks reduced because the tap really helps in providing water for people.

This is the Catholic Church in our barracks where I worship, I am a devoted Catholic, and I always enjoy worshipping in my church.
We all know how important serving God and going to church is that I contribute in the best way I can to make sure that our church is growing every day.

This is the Nigerian Army Store In Our Barracks where goods and services are been sold, mainly groceries and other items.
This store is currently managed by my father, and I sometimes assist him in purchasing goods for the store and also help him attend to customers.

This is the quarer guard in our barracks where soldiers always do duty to secure put locality, it's the entrance of our barracks and for you to enter they will search you properly and also ask you some questions before letting you inside.

Do you believe a place becomes close to our hearts when we stay there for years? Describe your answer.

Yes indeed, place becomes very much closer to our heart when we stay there for long, it's said that they is no place like home which is very much correct.
When we stay in a place for a long period we will have good memories about the environment and things happening there.

I remember when I travelled away from our barracks, I wasn't comfortable for almost a week, and I felt sick.

It was as if I wasn't complete or something left my body, I missed my friends and also playing football with my teammates, without doubt when we stay in a place for a very long time it becomes part of us because of the memories we will create there.
