It's good to interact with you once again my beautiful and trusted Steemit family, how are you doing? I hope you are as fine as I am. I am glad to participate in this contest titled: Contest of July#2 by @sduttaskitchen| Show your talents! Today I shall be drawing and painting nature. I hope you will enjoy my participation

Material used in the drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencil
• Colours
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began my nature drawing by drawing the house. After the house, I draw the main road. I also map the positions of the mountains and trees.

Step 2
I painted the sky. Here I used sky blue colour.

Step 3
I painted the mountains. I used brown colour to do that. I also darken one part of the mountain with a pencil and also add some small trees to the mountain.

Step 4
I shade the trees surrounding the mountain and the house. I used dark green and light green colour.

Step 5
I increase the thickness of the trees by shading them more. I also put small grasses on the road.

Step 6
I coloured the plain ground behind the house. I used yellow and orange colours.

Step 7
I coloured the major road. I used an orange colour at the edge of the road and a black colour on the space where cars, motorcycles and human beings can pass.

Step 8
I added grasses close to the road and any other available space.

Step 9
For the final stage, I coloured the house, the zink, the door and the window. I used blue colour, red colour and brown respectively.

When did your interest grow in your selected talent?
My interest in drawing and painting started back then in High school when I had a Fine Art teacher by the name of Mr. Gbenga. This man was very good in both theory and practice of the subject. His skills motivated me to pick up an interest in the subject.

Do you get any training, or do you learn your talent on your own?

Aside from the lessons and practicals we had back then in school, I never had any other training. I improved on my own by constant practice at home

How can this talent be useful for you and others?
This talent is already useful to me as you can see. I have posted several drawings on the Steemit platform including this one. This talent can be used as a business to earn a living both for me and others

Do you believe we all have some hidden talents? Justify.
I believe we all have hidden talent. Sometimes, we need somebody or something else to spark or arouse the talent in us and we will see ourselves flowing or excelling. I know of a boy who was noticed by his teacher to be very good technically. The teacher advised him and talked with his parent to send him to technical school. They did and he is doing very well today.
