Good day steemians and welcome to season 7 week 3 of the steemit engagement challenge. The challenge for the incredible India community requires i share some information about my last family holiday experience. Let’s get right into it :)

Why did you choose to visit that place?
My last family holiday experience was a trip to the beach. It occurred about 3 years ago, we had planned to visit Elegushi Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Nigeria, known for its stunning scenery and clear blue waters. However, due to renovations, we ended up at Maruwa Beach instead. Despite the unexpected change of plans, the trip turned out to be an enjoyable and memorable experience for my family and me.
We chose to visit the beach because we wanted to spend some quality time together and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh sea air. As a family, we are all very busy with work and school, and finding time to spend together can be challenging. So, we decided to take a break and plan a trip to the beach where we could relax and have fun together.
Elegushi Beach is a popular spot, known for its clear waters, white sandy beaches and lush greenery. We had heard that it was a great place to spend a day with family and friends, so we were really looking forward to visiting. However, when we arrived we found out that it was closed for renovations.
Boy! How terrible it felt at that moment. I thought it was all over.
We were disappointed, but we decided to make the best of it and headed to the nearest beach from there (it wasn’t so near considering traffic congestion though)Maruwa Beach instead. You know that famous quote, “every disappointment is a blessing”? Yeahhh it hit real hard that day 😂.

Share the experiences you gathered while visiting the place.
Maruwa Beach is a hidden gem, it is a less crowded and less commercialized beach which is great for family's that look for some peace and quite. The air was pure and the beach sands were hard to walk on, but it was a great opportunity to bond as a family. We took turns riding horses and playing next to the shore, which was a lot of fun. The horses were well trained and the guides were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beach had a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean and the surrounding area was covered with lush greenery, which gave the beach a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

Do you have any noteworthy incidents or moments you faced while traveling to that place?
One noteworthy incident that we faced while traveling to the beach was getting stuck in traffic. It was a bit frustrating, but it gave us the opportunity to bond and make the most of the time we had together. We sang songs, played games and told jokes to pass the time and it was a great opportunity for us to spend some quality time together.
Which thing did you enjoy the most in that place?
The thing that I enjoyed the most about Maruwa Beach was the pure air and the opportunity to bond with my family. The horseback riding and playing next to the shore was also a lot of fun. We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the refreshing sea air. The drive back home was also fun as we could still smell the pure beach air for miles.
Would you like to visit that place once again with your family?
Overall, I would love to visit Maruwa Beach again with my family. Despite the unexpected change of plans, it turned out to be a great trip and we all had a lot of fun together. It was a memorable experience for us and I would love to make more memories at this beautiful place. It's a great place for family's that want to spend some quality time together in a peaceful and serene environment. It's a great alternative to the more crowded and commercialized beaches, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.
